About
What Yoy Sheets is for, who writes it, how claims are checked, and where to write when we get something wrong.
This is a blog and nothing more complicated than that. Nothing is deleted once it is up, so the archive is the full record, written to the standard of the line under the logo, Better bedding, better sleep, plainly explained.
Most of what is written about Choosing and caring for sheets and bedding for better sleep is written by people who have never had to live with the results. Yoy Sheets is the opposite arrangement, and that is the whole idea behind it.
Every article carries the name of the person who wrote it, and every name links to a page listing everything else they have written.
Nora Aldridge, Bedding and home comfort writer. Nora writes about what makes bedding genuinely comfortable, cutting past marketing claims to how sheets actually feel and last.
Devon Mercer, Textiles and materials writer. Devon explains the fabrics behind bedding and clothing, helping readers understand what they are really buying.
Ingrid Solveig, Sleep and care writer. Ingrid covers sleep habits and the practical care that keeps bedding fresh, drawing on plain research rather than hype.
The site pays for itself through a small number of outbound links. It has never been enough to change what gets written, and the day it is, we will say so here.
Articles are filed under one topic each, so an archive page reads as a list rather than a pile. Most of the traffic here lands on sheets and bedding, fabrics and materials and sleep.
We are not the right place for advice tailored to your exact situation. Yoy Sheets publishes general guidance, and the difference matters more than it sounds.
Nothing here is written from a search results page. If we have not handled it ourselves or spoken to somebody who has, we leave the topic alone until we have.
We keep the commercial side visible. Some outbound links earn us money, and that never buys a change to the text around them.
The full process, including corrections and commercial links, is set out on the editorial policy page.
People ask about the name. There is rarely a good story behind a domain, and there is not one here either. Yoy Sheets was available, it was short enough to say out loud, and it has been the name long enough now that changing it would be more confusing than keeping it.
Tell us which line is wrong and why, at [email protected] or through the contact page. Small errors are corrected the same week. Anything that changes the advice gets a dated note at the bottom of the article.
